Save soil is a global movement to save soil from extinction and bring the necessary policies to address the catastrophic issue facing humanity. This movement has generated support from the global leaders including Marc Benioff, Jane Goodall, His Holiness the Dalai Lama and Institutions such as the United Nations convention to combat desertification, The world economic forum and many more.\u00a0 He also stressed the importance of soil quoting 52% of the world\u2019s agricultural soil has already degraded and we have raise awareness and initiate government policies for soil revitalization.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-25002 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/sode-edu.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/soil-awarness-2-300x211.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"211\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sode-edu.in\/smvitm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/soil-awarness-2-300x211.jpg 300w, https:\/\/sode-edu.in\/smvitm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/soil-awarness-2.jpg 596w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Mr. Pundarikaksha Kodancha, the principal SVH PU College, Innanje presided over the function.\u00a0 HOD of Civil Engineering Dr. Sandeep J Nayak, welcomed the gathering. Eco club coordinator Mr. Sunil Haldankar introduced the Resource person. Ms. Deepika B V, Mr. Madhusoodhana Rao, Assistant Professor from Civil Engineering and faculty and staff members of SVH PU College was present on the dais.
