\"\"The Department of Chemistry in association with ISTE Faculty Chapter of Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management had organized webinar on \u201cProtecting the ozone Layer and combating climate change\u201d for the benefit of faculty members, researchers and students on 16 September 2021,\u00a0 as a part of World Ozone Day celebrations.<\/p>\n

Dr. Balakrishna Keshav, professor, Department of Civil Engineering, MIT Manipal was the resource person of the webinar. In his address, he explained about the reasons for\u00a0Ozone depletion and\u00a0also he clarified myths regarding ozone layer. Also he talked about Earths climate change.<\/p>\n

The webinar was hosted online using Google meet application. Dr. Reena Kumari Head of Chemistry Department along with faculty members Dr. Subbulakshmi N. Karanth , Ms.Raviprabha\u00a0 and Ms.Renita S. Monis had organized this event.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
