The <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Short Term Training Program was organized for the benefit of <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">faculties and research scholars from various institutions.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dr. Raghavendra Holla, MIT, Manipal inaugurated\u00a0 the program and addressed the participants on Artificial Intelligence and Building Information modeling in Civil Engineering practice and motivated the students to diversify their skills in advancement. Mr. Shashi G Nayak Dubai, Director &amp; Architect from Shristi Ventures Padubidri gave deep insights on innovative wall construction technology, which is time efficient, economical and also less impact on the environment. Dr. B B Das Associate Professor, NITK Surathkal explained the advancement in research area and explained the hydration and microstructure properties of Nanosilica admixed sustainable cementitious mortar. Recycling of construction and demolition waste and its application in various fields in construction was elaborated meticulously by Mr. Rajendra Kalabhavi, Executive Director, Dakshina Kannada Nirmithi Kendra, Surathkal. On the last day of training, Mr. Viviek Mayya, Co-partner of Samruddhi Associates Mangalore demonstrated the Low cost house construction by brick join technology and other innovative ideas were discussed during his presentation. More than 100 faculties and research scholars have participated in this event.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dr. Thirumaleshwara Bhat, Principal, Dr. Sandeep J Nayak , HoD were present on the occasion.
