Dr. K. K. Srinivasan, Retd. Professor, Department of Chemistry, SMVITM was the resource person for the talk.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In his talk, he explained about various products produced by the common medicinal plants which are available in our surroundings and their prospective global market growth and value in the near future. He also emphasized the importance of maintaining a balanced diet, consumption of adequate amount of water and fiber rich food to keep the body fit and fine.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The talk was conducted for the benefit of the teaching and non-teaching staff of the institute. The Vice Principal, Deans, HoDs, teaching and nonteaching staff members were present during the talk. The program was compered by Dr.Subbulaxmi N.
