\"\"<\/a>The tenth Annual Sports Meet of Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology & Management, Bantakal was held on 29 February 2020 in the institute premises.<\/p>\n

Mr. Ganesh Poojary, Physical Education Director, NMAMIT, Nitte was the chief guest for the inaugural function held in the morning. Inaugurating the event, Mr. Ganesh Poojary advised students to spend at least 2 hours per day for physical exercise and sports so as to keep ourselves fit and perform better in academics. \u00a0He gave away prizes to the winners in the sports competitions on the occasion.<\/p>\n

Shri Rathnakumar, Secretary of Shri Sode Vadiraja Mutt Education Trust (SSVMET), Udupi, presided over the inaugural function. Speaking on the occasion he said that taking part in sports is very helpful for physical fitness and sports will help to reduce mentaly stress in busy human life.<\/p>\n

Dr. Thirumaleshwara Bhat, Principal of the institute welcomed the gathering. Mr. Muralidhara Sharma, Physical Education Director and faculty, staff and Students were present during the function.<\/p>\n

Mr. Nasheel administered the oath to the participants. Ms. Rachana Shetty proposed the vote of thanks. Attractive March past was held before the inauguration.
