\"\"<\/a>ISTE Student Chapter and IEEE Student Branch of SMVITM, jointly organized a two days workshop on “New Age Skill Set for Writing\u00a0a Technical Papers<\/strong>” for the final year students on 12th<\/sup> and 19th<\/sup> February 2019.<\/p>\n

The motto of this program was to improve skill set of\u00a0 students\u00a0 to present their final year project work in a\u00a0Technical paper and improve their presentation skill.<\/p>\n

The opening remark\u00a0for the workshop was given by Dr. Vasudeva<\/strong>, HOD Department of Computer Science and Engineering were he briefed about two day\u2019s workshop and also the importance of Technical writing.<\/p>\n

This was followed by four session from\u00a0\u00a0Mr. Ananda Hegde<\/strong>, Associate Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering,\u00a0Mr. Sujay Raghavendra\u00a0<\/strong>Naganna<\/strong>, Associate Professor, Department of Civil Engineering,\u00a0\u00a0Dr. K K Srinivasan<\/strong>, Sr. Professor, Department of Chemistry and\u00a0Dr. Ravindra H.J<\/strong>, Associate Professor and Head, Department of Physics on day one.<\/p>\n

Second day of the workshop was conducted on 19th<\/sup> February. The first session was taken by Dr.Vasudeva<\/strong> HOD Department of Computer Science and Engineering and later Dr. Asha C. S<\/strong>, Associate Professor, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering conducted a hands on session on LATEX.<\/p>\n

At the end of Two day workshop Dr. Thirumaleshwara Bhat,<\/strong>\u00a0Principal of SMVITM addressed the gathering and\u00a0recognized\u00a0the\u00a0key speakers of both the days for their contribution toward the betterment of the student community. Later the students\u00a0 shared their valuable feedback about the various sessions and finally students received\u00a0the participation certificates in the hands of Dr. K. K. Srinivasan.<\/p>\n
