Alumni cell in association with the Department of Mechanical Engineering organized an Alumni interaction activity. Mr. Ashwath Shetty, a proud alumnus of our institution (2012-2016 batch) visited us and delivered a talk on \u201cCareer in Marine engineering for Mechanical Engineers\u201d and interacted with the students of pre-final and final year Mechanical Engineering students. The talk was held in the seminar hall-3, library block.The talk was conducted on 27 March 2017.<\/p>\n

Mr. Shetty also stressed on ample opportunities, advantages and limitations associated with the field. He encouraged the students to think positively and be patient which would help make right decisions. The talk focused on the career path for Mechanical engineers in Merchant Navy. It was a beneficial activity for all students as the response after the talk was very positive.<\/p>\n

Prof. and Head of Mechanical Engineering Department, Dr. Sudarshan Rao K attended the talk and advised the students to make use of the opportunities available and do well. Mr. Aditya Kudva S, Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering & Institutional Alumni Coordinator welcomed the gathering and Mr. Raja Yateesh Yadav, Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering proposed the vote of thanks.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
