This Program was organized by Entrepreneurship Development cell of the Institute for the benefit of faculties.<\/p>\n

The resource person Mr. Nishanth K. Prasad, Associate, K&S Partners, Intellectual Property Attorneys, Bengaluru, gave the details about intellectual Property Rights its types and informed the gathering that a patent provides its owner with the right to exclude others from exploiting the patented technology, including, for example, making, using, or selling the patented invention.<\/p>\n

Mr. Nishanth also explained the Patent application process, also strategic considerations for international patent filing.<\/p>\n

Prof. Dr. Thirumaleshwara Bhat, Principal, HODs of all the departments and faculties were present during the function.\u00a0 Mr. Arun Upadhyaya, Coordinator of ED cell, coordinated the program.<\/p>\n
