Kadiyali Higher Primary School
A Legacy of 154 Years of Excellence in Education
About Our School
Kadiyali Higher Primary School stands as one of the oldest and most respected educational institutions in the region. Established in 1872, with over 154 years of dedicated service in primary education, the school has built a glorious legacy of nurturing knowledge, discipline, and cultural values among thousands of students.
The institution was founded by the visionary Sri Vakwadi Vittalayya and later came under the able administration of his son Sri V. Naranappaiah. In 2018, the school management was handed over to His Holiness Sri Sri Vishwavallabha Tirtha Swamiji of Sri Sode Vadiraja Mattu, Udupi, under whose spiritual guidance and leadership the school continues to progress and flourish.
Currently, the school offers education from Grade 1 to Grade 7, providing students with a strong foundation in academics, culture, and moral values. Under the leadership of Swamiji, and with the able support of Secretary Sri Rathna Kumar and CEO of Sode group of institutions Sri Dr. Radhakrishna Aithal, the institution continues to grow with renewed commitment to excellence.

Test 2
During the British rule, when Dakshina Kannada was part of the Madras Province, very few dared to establish schools in rural areas. On 17 January 1943, Innanje hosted the first Scout Rally of the district. Captivated by the natural beauty of the place, education officers from the Madras government felt inspired to set up a school here. Encouraged by their vision, local leaders, youth, and residents joined hands.
With the support of people from Innanje and surrounding areas, Sanivasa Vidya Mandir was established on 4 June 1943. The institution holds the distinction of being the first residential school in a rural area among the 18 high schools in Dakshina Kannada at that time.
Today, the school flourishes under the blessings of Shri Shri Vishwavallabha Theertha Swamiji and the efficient management of a committed and capable teaching staff.
Innanje is a village located about 15 km from Udupi. Tradition says this is the sacred place where the Almighty once partook of the choicest food, thus the name “Undaru.” The village is also honored with the title Bhuktipura Vishwendranagara.
