Electronic products are becoming an essential part of our daily lives, from simple consumer electronics to highly sophisticated aviation and avionics or diagnostic equipment and ultra-modern fibre optic communications systems. Field of computers, communication systems and consumer electronics are progressing rapidly. 

To keep up with this progressing technology and to meet the increasing demand for skilled professional with engineering prospective, who is logical, a problem solver, analytical, who is good in multitasking and pioneering our department of Electronics and Communication Engineering grooms the students in the field of technology and plays an active role in this fast moving world.

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering had started functioning ever since the Institution came into existence in 2010, with the vision to upgrade the skills and knowledge of young engineers and to enable them survive in the competitive world.

The Department has qualified and devoted faculty members to provide good technical support and give individual consideration to all the students. The vision of the department is supported by our faculty and students who are dedicated to achieve this goal with zeal and good ethical values. We hope that we will continue to aid the society and expect our students to pass on the skills that they have developed during their tenure in the department.

Since, its inception, The Department has been giving a great emphasis on the overall development and improvement of its students and staff.

We are committed to give our students an outcome based education which provides them an environment to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills as they advance through the programme. In addition to classroom teaching, the students are guided and motivated to implement practically the principles learnt in classrooms through experimentations in the laboratories and projects which help students gain confidence and become skilled engineering professionals.

The graduate of Electronics and Communication Engineering should be able to

Engineering Graduates will be able to:

PO1Engineering knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems
PO2Problem analysis: Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences
PO3Design/development of solutions: Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations
PO4Conduct investigations of complex problems: Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions
PO5Modern tool usage: Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modeling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations
PO6The engineer and society: Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering practice
PO7Environment and sustainability: Understand the impact of the professional engineering solutions in societal and environmental contexts, and demonstrate the knowledge of, and need for sustainable development

PSO-1Understand the concepts of electronics & communication engineering and its application in the fields of signal processing, control systems, embedded systems, VLSI design, networking, and communication.
PSO-2Apply domain-specific knowledge to design, analyze, synthesize and validate real-time problems in electronics & communication engineering.
